My regular eye glass outfit is closed on the weekends so my wife searched for a glasses repair spot on a Saturday. She found this Pearl Vision that opened at 9:00. Wise got there a few minutes after 9:00 and inquired if they repair glass frames if I hadn't bought from them. The lady said \"oh certainly we do, have a seat.\" Shortly after I was called over to the eyeglass technician lady who put a quality repair with larger screws that should hold tighter. On top of all they they didn't charge me a lick for that! Very nice and nearly unheard of in today's world. They were able to explain my exam, the product, and I got a nice pair of glasses. The price was incredibly high for what I consider to be just a pair of glasses. It was $1,100 for the entire service but it was still $340 for just the lenses. I still had to pay about $640 after insurance coverage and write offs. This was a rare purchase so I bit the bullet and ordered the glasses.\nI came in to pick up the glasses. They were offered to me and I tried them on and they fit fine and I was happy with them.\nI asked “Kierra” if she wouldn’t mind putting a nose pad on the left side of my old glasses. She said no “that would be $6.” Are you kidding? Is a nose pad going to put you out of business? I paid $640 after write-offs and insurance out of my own pocket and you can't spare an extra nose pad?\n(Edit)\n(Keeping most of original post for reference) Melissa called me later and discussed the situation with me and was very helpful and apologetic. I felt like a jerk but still felt the principal was important. Changed from one star to four and will go back happily if I need further service. She took the time to help me pick the best frames, we looked at probably 8+ different frames and we had a fun time doing it.
